The Hemline Pattern Notcher is the ideal tool for pattern drafting or garment sewing. Use the pattern notcher to record markings (notches) on paper or card pattern pieces. This allows the notches to be easily transferred to the fabric when cutting out the pattern.

Mark the notches from your paper pattern onto your fabric using scissors (clip the notch), or use tailor’s chalk, or a tracing wheel and carbon paper.
