The Sew Easy Tailor’s Pressing Ham is a requirement to professional sewing. This curved shaped tool is used to emulate 3D areas of the body and aid with pressing darts, pleats and shaping. It can also be used to press curved seams, such as princess seams.

Filled with sawdust, the tailor’s ham is covered with a wool/acrylic mix on one side (red and black), and cotton on the other side (white). The sawdust pulls the steam through the tool and helps to ‘set the press’. The wool side is designed for voluminous fabrics that require a lower temperature, whereas the cotton side is for smoother fabrics and higher temperature settings.
