Refund & Digital Products Policy

This policy explains how refunds are handled for products and services purchased from Made to Sew. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Digital Products
Our digital products include, but are not limited to:
- Sewing patterns (PDF downloads)
- Online classes and tutorials
- Digital resources and educational content
Instant Access
All digital products are provided with instant access upon purchase.
No Refunds Once Accessed
Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available once a digital product has been accessed or downloaded, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product with immediate access.
2. Online Classes & Memberships
Online classes and educational content may be delivered via third-party platforms such as Mighty Networks.
- Access is granted immediately after purchase
- Refunds are not available once access has been provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law
- Ongoing subscriptions or memberships may be cancelled in accordance with the terms stated at the time of purchase
3. In Person Classes and Courses
- We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind for In Person Classes or Courses, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Requests to amend bookings must be made in writing.
- Where an amendment request is received more than 14 days before the scheduled class date, we may, at our discretion, offer:
- a transfer to another class; or
- a credit,
subject to availability.
- Amendment requests received within 14 days of the scheduled class date are not eligible for a transfer or credit.
- If we cancel a class or course, we will offer a reschedule or a full refund.
4. Physical Products
If you purchase a physical product from Made to Sew, refunds or replacements may be available only where required under Australian Consumer Law, including where the product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is not as described
- Does not meet acceptable quality standards
We do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect selection
- Normal wear and tear
- Cut fabrics, interfacing and haberdashery (unless faulty)
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair for goods or services that:
- Are faulty
- Are significantly different from their description
- Do not perform as reasonably expected
