Hi, I'm Aneka

I started Made to Sew in 2013, after working in the fashion industry and owning my own fashion brand.

I draft and sew almost everything I wear and have over 10 years of teaching experience. So, when you bring me a fitting, drafting or sewing problem I have probably seen it before. 

The Academy is where I get to teach the way I enjoy most: supporting you, with your individual projects; perfecting fit, and providing tips and techniques for professional finishes.

Send your question in advance and I'll answer it during the clinic. The recording is added to the replay library shortly afterwards, so you can watch whenever suits you.

There are two clinics each month: one timed for the UK, Europe and Australia (usually Saturday morning UK / Saturday evening AEST), and one for the US and Canada (usually Sunday afternoon US time / Monday morning for Australia). The exact dates and times are shown in your own time zone inside the Academy, and you can add them to your calendar. Can’t make it live? Send your question in advance and watch the replay.

The Academy is best for confident beginners to intermediate sewists, and anyone who has made a few garments and wants better fit and a more professional finish. If you're brand new, start with my free YouTube tutorials.
