Learn to draft your own perfectly fitted bodice and sleeve block – the foundation pattern you’ll use to make almost anything, for the rest of your sewing life. Most patterns are drafted to a standard size and never quite fit your body.
This course flips that on its head: you’ll take your own measurements, draft a block built entirely around your shape, fit it on yourself in calico, and leave with a true-to-you pattern block you can draft from again and again – no more guessing if a new pattern will fit before you’ve even cut the fabric.
12 hours of tuition (optional for 2 x full days | or 4 x evenings)
Small group: 6-8 students
Skill level: Confident beginner to intermediate – you must be comfortable using a sewing machine
You’ll leave with: your own bodice block and sleeve block, plus the know-how to draft from them
